Safe and Sound
Greetings, everyone!
I am sorry it has taken so long to get anything new posted on the blog. We are just now in a place that I can use the internet with any length.
We have arrived safely in the U.S. The journey from Aberdeen was great, albeit, long.
We are currently in Northern California. Last night we stayed in a town called, Redding. Redding is located on a large interstate just before entering a mountain range.
Yesterday, we noticed all along the journey (which started in Los Angeles) that the sky was quite smokey. We realised why when we reached Redding. The mountains were on fire. It was a very eerie sight.
We have been reminded of God's faithfulness and greatness several times along the journey. We are also missing everyone at Church a lot, already!
Since being here, we are starting to realise how we have made Britain our home and we miss many things already. When we first moved to Scotland, there were some words that we banned because it reminded us of things we missed in America. Now, we have banned words that remind us of Scotland. Words like; chips and chocolate! And, we can't get a descent cup of tea to save our lives!!!
I haven't been able to read too much of our book, "The Pressure's Off" yet. I have been doing a lot of driving and my free time has been spent working on a some of the presentation details for our time here. I will post something on the blog on Saturday night (which would be Sunday morning for you in Scotland!)
Have a great day and pray for us as we will also be praying much for each of you!!
We miss you.

Jonathon Groves was very good,he brought a friend with him,who gave his testimony. The friend was a manager at marks and spencerand became a christian 3 years ago,at the age of 44 after attending a christianity explored course.Neale even enjoyed his Sunday, although he was the only youngster there!Evening service went well, with George giving a complete testimony of all the marvelous things that God has done for him.[The singing was ok too,I think!] The cat and gold fish are still alive, although I have had to deal with 2 dead birds![has made me feel quite brave!] kate
