Melting in the desert

Hiya, Everyone.
Pastor Glen, here. We are staying busy with camp this week. It's HOT!!! It is about 40 degrees every day and no one seems to even notice. We have a good turnout of about 75 children aged 8-11 years old. They seem to be paying close attention during the chapel times. I speak in the morning and evening and Tammy is speaking to them during the afternoons. Tammy is sharing the story of Eric Liddell.
Heather is a camper this week and is enjoying making new friends. To be honest, we don't seem to quite fit in here in America like we used to. We are looking forward to coming home. The boys stayed with Tammy's parents in Seattle this week and will be bringing them down here to California on the weekend.
We are teaching the children some good Scottish words and they seem to be having a lot of fun.

We miss you all very much and can't wait to see you again.
Take care and God bless.
Pastor Glen.

Neale is at Scripture Union camp this week.He has phoned me twice and is absolutely loving it and speaking about going back next year!He even thinks the food is good{that might be because of all the physical activities making him hungry}.There has been high winds here, blowing over lots of things in your garden.I have watered your plants to make them heavier to stop them blowing over, but your top of your outside heater had blown away and got a bit damaged.Today [wednsday] has been a fantastic day, really sunny,Hartley and I have been sitting outside until ten tonight. We are now counting the days until we leave for france.

Thanks Kate! Hmm! wind at our house, that's pretty normal, I'm afraid. I should have put that heater away.
Glad to hear about Neale, we think about you guys all the time.
Thanks for looking after things. I assume Felix must still be around?
Take care and thanks again!!!!
Glen

I have been in contact with Clare and I am meeting her on wednesday to hand over cat duties!Felix must e feeling lonely as he now follows me everywhere when I water the plants etc.Neale is back from camp and although he loved it he said he needed to speak to Glen regarding some of the teaching.he seemed to disagree and had debated with some of the teachers on their views on predestination.I think Neale had got it right!
